In this paper, we discuss:

  • The emergence of the Bennett-Lapid “Together” alliance as a potential challenger to Netanyahu amid growing public dissatisfaction with his government following years of political instability, war, and security failures;
  • The alliance’s key policy priorities, including constitutional reform, education integration, term limits, and mandatory military service for Haredi Jews;
  • How tensions over Haredi conscription and ultra-Orthodox influence have weakened Netanyahu’s coalition and increased the likelihood of early elections;
  • Whether the Bennett-Lapid alliance can translate favorable polling into power, given Israel’s fragmented political landscape and persistent coalition-building challenges.
