Paul Helmich, MSc, is an independent financial economist specialising in monetary architecture, digital currencies, and monetary policy. He holds an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia, is an independent member of Finance Watch, and is involved with monetary reform movements. His research has previously appeared in OMFIF’s Digital Monetary Institute (“Britain’s Synthetic CBDC,” August 2026). He is based in the Netherlands.
